In my early 20s, I started making major lifestyle changes after being at my lowest point physically & mentally. As my well-being improved, so did my passion for sharing it with others. I created Mats and Mutts to offer encouragement to heal & grow by choosing gratitude, self-love and compassion. Grounded in these values, I share the small steps that make a positive impact for yourself and the world around you in a gentle, yet powerful way.

A little about me
My perfect day would consist of hanging out on the deck with my husband, James, and our three fur-kids, who we love with our whole hearts (dogs: Layla & Doug, cat: Walli)! Nothing more I love than rolling out my yoga mat in the backyard to meditate and practice with my little family by my side.
Or you can find me curled up with a cup of Earl Grey, my journal and a good book. I love year-round cozy, hygge vibes! Formerly a homebody by choice, I am now a homebody by circumstance due to living with two chronic illnesses (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an autoimmune disease and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a condition that affects the nervous system as it relates to heart rate + blood pressure + blood flow + circulation). While I’m still navigating adjusting to a new normal, I have found much joy and gratitude alongside these conditions.
